Dalhousie Obelisk
Retrace your steps along Anderson Bridge and through the underpass. As you emerge from the underpass, you will find on your right the Dalhousie Obelisk. It was dedicated to Marquis Dalhousie, the Governor General of India from 1848-1856 and who visited Singapore merchants of the in 1850.

Republic of Singapore Navy Museum
Military enthusiasts and visitors can trace the development of naval forces in Singapore from Straits Settlements Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve of 19th century to today's Republic of Singapore Navy.

Republic of Singapore Air Force Museum
The Republic of Singapore Air Force Museum traces the development of the Republic of Singapore Air Force from its early days as the Royal Air Force in 1927 to the present. The museum resides on 10,600 m2 of land, with a total built-up area of 4,600 m2.

The Singapore Art Museum (SAM) is one of the first art museums with international standard museum facilities and program in Southeast Asia. Old Parliament House
The Parliament of Singapore is housed in a new building completed in 1999. Situated just beside the Singapore River, it lies on one of the oldest inhabited areas in Singapore. With its colonnade facade, tiled roofs and clad in grey granite, the House looks dignified and blends in with the surrounding colonial buildings in the Civic District area. Merlion Park
The Merlion, half lion and half fish, was created as a symbol of the country. AS the official emblem of the Singapore Tourist Promotion Board, it is found on souvenirs. The Merlion is an eight –metre tall white sculpture spouting water in the Merlion Park at the Mouth of Singapore River. On September 15, 2002, Senior Minister Lee Kuan Yew officially opened the new Merlion Park and inaugurated the restored Merlion at its new home.
